    Carl was one of the Watergate journalists and, in those days, was outspoken about such matters as “criminal” spying. However, the control over the media exerted by covert gov’t agencies has greatly expanded since 1977, through infiltration and recruitment from within. Along with the “Whatever you say” type fascination with spying activites which many corruptible individuals in the mass media share there is also the syndicate stranglehold on media ownership which together (and the agencies and syndicates do work together) with agency control guarantees that they can all lie at will and do pretty much as they like to whoever they dislike.

    • NOTE: Whilst articles on the available technology can be located, accounts relating to actual political targets are rare. The media cannot (or will not) run sympathetic items. They only publish stories discrediting those who react badly, (or foolishly) to the harassment. In short, certain sections of the media are both knowledgable AND complicit. Others are apparently powerless to stop them.
